about me

I work in private practice and previously Student Health Services, Otago University.

I came to be a psychotherapist from 30 years of clinical background as a psychiatric nurse. The later years I was involved in specialised psychotherapy programmes in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings.

I have experience working with people with a wide range of issues, those in distress or are having emotional or relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, eating problems, bereavement and trauma. 

I am a trained gestalt psychotherapist with a particular interest in the conversational model of psychotherapy.

My approach is to work alongside people in a respectful, empathic and accepting manner.

practice hours

I current work in private practice Monday to Friday with some flexibility in hours.

duration & cost

Usually appointments are on a weekly basis and last for 50 minutes. My standard fee is $110.

My Private practice works out of Dunedin Psychotherapy & Counselling, located on the 5th floor of the Westpac Building, 106 George Street, Dunedin.
