about me

I am both a registered psychotherapist and social worker and a full member of NZAP. I have a diploma in Gestalt psychotherapy and have completed the ashburn Clinic’s theory of psychotherapy modular series. I hold a postgraduate certificate in health Sciences, endorsed in Child and Adolescent mental health.

I have worked in both Child and Adolescent mental Health and Student health at the University of Otago and now work three days a week in private practice. I provide short and longterm psychotherapy and clinical supervision for social workers and mental health workers.

I work to promote self awareness in order that people can be more choiceful about their lives and the decisions they make. I am interested in working with people from minority groups. I am blind and my guide dog, Annie, joins me in my office whilst I work.

Practice hours

I practice on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 8 am to 6 pm. By appointment only.
I am accepting new clients at present.

Duration & Cost

Appointments are 50 minutes  and I usually see people on a weekly basis but fortnightly appointments are also possible.  Please contact me for my fee structure. 

Location

253 North Road, Northeast Valley. My office is wheelchair accessible and there is a bus stop outside the gate.  There is free parking on North road.
